Who am I?
I am Darren Cherrey-Elliott, currently a Conestoga College Creative Industries student. I am a young photographer/videographer from the small town of Mount Forest in Wellington North, Ontario.
I take an interest in many different subjects in the creative arts, for example: 3D modelling, 3D scanning, photography, videography, drone flying, animation, lighting, editing, and visual effects.
I currently reside in the Kitchener region, but I also spend a lot of time in my hometown. In the future, I would like to live in the greater Toronto area since there is a much higher concentration of people and jobs in the field of photography and video production.
I will be graduating from Conestoga College in April 2026. I wish to continue to pursue further education, maybe even a Bachelor of Arts someday at a university.
I want to work in this industry because it truly is fun for me, and I love the arts. I believe that the industry will continue to grow, and I want to be there when it does. Creators are an important part of society, and they create and shape the culture that we live in every day.
How did I get here? I have been interested in being creative for most of my life, starting in my childhood. I used to watch a lot of movies and YouTube when I was young. That caused me to want to become a YouTuber like many other kids. That got me into video creation and photography. I was a key leader in the creation of the 2024 Wellington Heights Yearbook. I have created videos for most of my teenage years, nothing for a client, just for me and my friends.

I offer a wide range of services ranging from photography, videography graphic design, colour grading, or light VFX. Portraits photography shoots, advertising video work, anything you need done related to photo and video. Please contact me if you have any specific questions or projects you want to work with me on.
