Gaby Al Botros started learning music at ten and studied it in Damascus. His guitar quartet, Orontes, took him to Lebanon and then to Victoria, British Columbia. In Ontario he built Music Without Borders with Jana Daher, and later the Toronto Arab Orchestra. In the film he tells the story himself.
I produced the film, did the final edit, subtitles, titles and graphics, and ran its release, including the film’s own site. It was our capstone for Conestoga College’s Broadcasting – Television and Independent Production program, made with Music Without Borders and the Toronto Arab Orchestra. A Peaceful Films and DCE Photography production.
